Dear Single Mothers:
 Here's to
all of you single mothers out there. Your beauty is
incredible, and I am honored to be in your company. If you
remember nothing else from this site, I hope you remember the above
headline. Because no one but you can make good things happen in
your life, and create the life you've always dreamed of. If you
want it, you must (MUST) actually go for it. Only you can do that. Keep getting up. Keep smiling, keep creating, keep
inspiring and keep bringing your best to every situation. Then
watch as your dreams begin to unfold, when you put your
"wow-determination" to work. And even as you feel exhaustion knocking at the door, and your
kids' needs seem so great - just breathe and do it all over again. Here are some tips: Take care of you in the process! Make healthy food and lifestyle choices, as often as possible.
Imagine daily, that you are in a marathon, and a contender for the gold
medal. The reward? The personal satisfaction of reaching your
goals, of course! But more importantly, the priceless, precious love and admiration
from your kids, loved ones, friends and family. They'll never forget all

 The United States is filled with women (and men) on welfare, barely able to
survive. According
to an Associated Press February, 2007 analysis: Nearly one in six people relies
on some form of public assistance, a larger share than at any time since the
government started measuring two decades ago.
That figure
has increased exponentially since the 2008 housing crisis and economic
downturn! Many of these
are single parents, struggling to make ends meet.
Lisa Jey knows. Becoming a mother at the age of nineteen was one of the
scariest and most incredible challenges of her life. It also required she work
with diligence and determination to overcome the many obstacles and setbacks
encountered along the way. The road was rough at times. She can
relate to women who struggle. But she set out early to do what she could to
not only provide for her children, but to provide a life of experiences she'd
only dreamed of as a child. To do so, Lisa Jey knew it would take commitment,

 Lisa Jey's examples from her own life,
working among Hollywood's elite in the media and (in the past) in television production in Los Angeles have inspired women to be who they are -
