Qualifications:
Lisa Jey Davis began writing advertising copy while running a
small media business in Albuquerque,
New Mexico in the early
80's. Her
creative instincts and knack for communicating effectively
led to
writing for regional publications such as The New York Review,
Aspen Sojourner Magazine
and Mountain Parent (among many others), television news segments, radio programs,
for advertising agencies,
website forums & blogs and later for televised entertainment industry
events.
For the past two decades, among other creative pursuits,
Lisa Jey has served as marketing and public relations consultant to
a varied clientele, including such industries as internet,
technology, professional disciplines and publishing, to name a few.
She served as Vice President of Communications, for
Coalition for
Responsible Government – a grass-roots organization in New Mexico in
the mid to late 1990’s. She quickly moved on from the world of
politics and marketing & public relations to the
glamorous world
of entertainment television, managing talent for musical
variety shows on
such networks as MTV, CBS, and for noted events
such as the NFL Super Bowl Bash, A Motown Christmas, among many
others. Lisa Jey has spoken to thousands of women at conferences,
sharing
her personal stories, and offering sound advice for
balancing career with motherhood and personal pursuits.
A
dynamic and gifted communicator, Lisa Jey packs her message with
deep insights, contemporary relevance, and humorous, real-life
anecdotes, whether speaking to a group of colleagues, congressmen
at
the capital building, a small women's group, or to thousands at a women’s conference.
